April Washburn
Director of Business Development
With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, April has always had a passion for connecting people. Eight years ago, she made a career shift from the business sector over to healthcare and has never looked back. Throughout April’s life, she has observed close friends and family members struggle with substance abuse and mental health issues; she now finds it especially rewarding when she can substantially help people find the resources they need when they need it most. As Director of Business Development, April is responsible for the strategic vision, sustainability and overall growth of Turning Point Center’s mission by developing business opportunities and partnerships. April holds a B.A. in Journalism and Communications from the University of Delaware. Originally from New York City, April moved to Salt Lake City via San Francisco by way of Singapore. She’s fiercely passionate about her husband, 2 teenagers, 3 dogs, travel, great food and wonderful friendships. When not at work, you’ll probably find her hiking or skiing on one of Utah’s world-renowned mountain trails.
