Sara has been part of the recovery community in Utah for the past 9 years. She has been affiliated with Steps Recovery, Annie’s House, Inspire Addiction Recovery and Renaissance Ranch.

She received her Substance Use Disorder Certificate from the University of Utah and is currently enrolled in the Bachelors of Social Work program at the University of Utah, working on obtaining her LCSW. Sara is married to her best friend and has 2 fur babies. She has a deep passion for recovery and is proud to say she is the daughter of a recovering addict/alcoholic.

She often says; “I wouldn’t wish this disease on anyone…but, I wouldn’t trade what I have been through for anything. It has shaped me into the person I am today….and I love that person”!
