Rachel DeGuzman
Alumni Coordinator
Rachel has been employed at Turning Point Centers for over two years. She first joined the Support Staff team in May 2017 and is now the Alumni Coordinator. Having lived for over a decade in the pain of her own addiction, her light and love for the life she’s built in her own recovery is what fuels her passion to support others in finding their own path. Rachel supports our alumni by being deeply imbedded in the communities we serve. She finds tremendous value in creating vibrant, fun activities and events, like weekly sober softball and monthly sweat lodges. Rachel enjoys creating partnerships with other recovery-based organizations and coordinating regular activities in which our alumni can reconnect. Where Rachel’s heart lies is in service; she is an active participant and organizer for various outreach projects focusing on bridging the gap between the homeless and victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
Rachel is the mother of two bubbly young boys who bring her more joy and satisfaction than any mind-altering substance ever could. She is an adventure seeker who loves to rock climb, and like most other native Texans is a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan.
