Alexandria McCauley
ACMHC
Alex has worked at the Lone Peak house of Turning Point Centers since January 2018. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from the University of Phoenix. Alex practices from a person-centered perspective and supports individuals, families, and groups through the use of minimal power differentials, assertiveness training, and exploration of personal strengths. Alex encourages and teaches individuals to overcome mental health and substance abuse disorders with the intention of each person taking back control over their lives.
When not at Lone Peak, Alex can be found running the trails of the Dimple Dell recreational area, engaging in art, and spending time with her spouse. As a Phoenix native, she embraces the warm summer of Utah. Alex is the caregiver to her 11-year-old nephew and three cats.
